AI in DocklyOne People

AI that helps your HR team — and shows its work.

Exactly what DocklyOne People’s AI does today, what powers each part, what data it can see, and what is still on the roadmap.

Ask HR AI — how-to answers

Anyone in a workspace can ask how to do something — “how do I add this year’s holidays?” — and get short steps with the exact screens, plus links to the help articles used.

What powers it
Anthropic Claude, called from our servers. Answers are grounded in the DocklyOne People Help Center and labelled as AI-generated.
What it can see
The question and our public help articles. Email addresses and ID- or account-like numbers are removed first. No employee, salary, bank or identity data. Owners can switch it off; each person has a daily limit; usage is audited without storing the question.

Ask HR AI — your own records

Employees and managers ask “my leave balance”, “latest payslip” or “who in my team is on leave” and get the answer with a link to act on it.

What powers it
Computed in the browser from records the person’s role can already see. No AI model is involved in these answers.
What it can see
Only what that person is already permitted to view in DocklyOne People.

Autopilot recommendations

The HR inbox’s AI review lists suggested actions on approvals, attendance exceptions, joiners and setup readiness, each with a confidence and the reasoning behind it.

What powers it
Rule-based checks (version rules-v1), not a language model. Nothing consequential happens until a person reviews it.
What it can see
The workspace’s own HR records, inside the workspace’s access controls.

Automated controls

Leave and regularization approvals escalate to HR when they pass their SLA; minimum-wage screening flags pay below the rate you record before payroll; paused data imports retry themselves; setup readiness is validated continuously.

What powers it
Scheduled database jobs and validation rules, fully audited.
What it can see
The workspace’s own configuration and records.
Our rules for AI
Your people data stays put

No employee, salary, bank or identity data is sent to an AI model unless the customer has approved the provider and the scope.

People decide

AI suggests and explains. Approvals, payroll, filings and anything that changes someone’s record stay with a person.

Visible and switchable

AI answers are labelled, cite their sources, are audited, and can be turned off for a workspace.

On the roadmap — not yet available

Each will follow the rules on the left and be switchable per workspace before it ships.

  • Policy questions answered from your company’s own published policies
  • Drafting help for letters, job descriptions and announcements, from what you type
  • Plain-language payroll explanations (“why did net pay change?”) from pay-component totals
  • Data-import mapping suggestions from column headers only, never the values

See it on your own workspace.
